Chosen Solution

I installed my MacBook battery a couple of months ago with good success. Battery was charging and operating just fine but over the last couple of days the battery now refuses to take a charge. I’ve tried 2 different chargers and reset the SMC, but no change. Is there another trouble shooting step or another thing I can check?

I also included a screenshot from the system report as well, Hoping that might show something. To me it seemed odd the the amperage would be reading zero, but I don’t have another laptop to compare against.

Let’s try this: Do you still have your original battery? If you do carefully disconnect your new battery and plug in your old battery. Setting the system on its side so you can see the screen what does CoconutBattery tell you how your old battery is doing. If you need to plug in the MagSafe. Without having another battery to work with it will be hard to isolate the problem. You’ll need a DVM to measure the voltages.
