Chosen Solution

Hi everyone One year ago I bought an red iPhone 7 in local Apple Store in Florida . For one month, I got a problem with the battery and it discharges very fast maybe 80% to 90% only in a few seconds. I tried many things like a restore or install a new iOS, but no success unfortunately The health check up on iOS doesn’t find anything and apple support too. Does The trouble really come from the battery ? I’m ready to change it. Thanks from France

The battery is the weakest link so that would be the first thing to try now that you have tried some software based solutions. It’s a relatively straightforward repair if you follow this guide. To be certain, use a battery utility, such as coconutBattery (for Mac) or 3uTools (for Windows). It will tell you what the health of the battery is. Anything less than 70% of design capacity will require replacement. If you have access to a USB Ammeter, you could use that to determine if the phone is really drawing current when it says it’s charging.
