Chosen Solution
Replaced battery with kit from iFixit. All is good except battery indicator freezes. A power down and restart fixes it temporarily. I have drained and recharged the battery full cycle three or four times with no change. How do I get the battery gauge to show accurate charge percentage?
Sounds like a faulty battery, get them to send you out a new one, and you should be ok. :)
