Hello. I have an iPhone 6 that the battery drains really fast (3h) when the phone have a SIM card on it. The network seems to be working fine and i’ve already reseted the network settings. When the phone is without any SIM card, the battery works fine. Does anyone knows what is happening and can help me with that? I’ve replaced the battery last week thinking that would solve the issue and also tried to get a new SIM card. Thanks in advance for any help.
When battery discharges so quickly there’s a short somewhere draining power continuosly. Since you’ve done some basic troubleshooting already that pointed you towards the Sim card reader unless you can fix iphones at component level there isn’t much else you can do on your own. You’ll need to find someone into microsoldering who can pinpoint the issue and dispose of it.
Same problem insert sim battery drain rapidly, take out sim phone work perfectly please someone help
