I recently replaced the battery in my macbook pro and it worked for a month or so, but suddenly the laptop doesn’t see the battery at all. When I unplug the cord, the laptop dies, and there’s no battery status showing up in the toolbar any more. The battery indicator on the side quit lighting up when I pushed the little button a couple of weeks ago. I tried taking off the back and checking the connection. it seems just fine. Another post here suggested the logic board could be faulty. I had replaced that as my most recent repair, though the battery did work fine for a week or two after that was done
Sounds like a faulty battery, I’d look into sending this one back if possible and getting and installing a new one👍
Sounds like its the Battery indicator light (BIL)
