Good evening, I have been delivered a new battery for my IPhone 5 by IFixit this morning, and it had in it some paste to cover the data like capacity excetera. Moreover, ok the back there were several signs of black pen, to cover other data. Is this normal routine for you?
yes very common but it depends on where you get it from and which country they are in, Apple has got most countries to look for their logos and information on things like batteries and rear frames and to stop the transit of these items. This also applies to samsung also, we often see black tape over the samsung logo on our screen orders.
