HI recently my mobile dropped at that time backdoor opened ….i tried solder and worked well for someday after that that capacitor and resistor lines got damaged…see in the picture….my doubt is this ntc and gas gauge line where it ends can any one give full path where it ends or any suggestion to get mobile back to work…thanks in advance
While your desire to repair this is admirable, the whole working iPhone 4 can be had on eBay for $40,00. If I had an inkling that you would be successful, I’d say go ahead. But trying this may discourage you from real repairs for the rest of your life. Build on success. Don’t get into the ring the first time with Mike Tyson, and that’s what you are doing here. Pick on something your own size ;-)
mathewbe27 this board has some extensive damage. You are missing multiple (at least 8) components, have torn traces and ripped solder pads. If you are sure you want to repair this board you will have to find somebody who does microsoldering. This will be a relatively expensive repair and will be exceeding the cost of a new one. But I think it can be done, by the right person. For now I’d stay away from any further repair until you know what you want to do with it. If you know how to microsolder and I mean something with the right tools and a microscope, post another picture that is more focused on the damaged area and keep it straight so we can find the right traces, parts and where to solder to.
