I repaired the LCD but while i was re-mounting the iPod i broke all the pints of battery connector (it worked pretty well for 1 hour) Any Help? what can i do? thanks guys. I want to repair this iPod because i’m sentimentally attached to it. Byehttp://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/694…
ruggeromariazanolini, that is a very common thing to happen. Anyhow, there are really only two things that you can do. One is, of course, to replace the logic board. Not a very expensive or difficult task. The other thing you can try, is to get a local shop to solder a new connector onto the board. It is surface mounted, so you will need to get someone with experience in doing that type of repair. The clip is available at places like this. Either one of those repairs will ensure that you get to keep your iPod functioning. Hope this helps, good luck.
