I offer multiple qualities of LCD replacements in my shop. Lately I have been having customers ask me why their phone is turning off even when it is showing 20/30/50% battery left. Coincidentally I have replaced the LCD’s of their phones with high quality knock offs. (full copy) Anyone else noticed the same problems? Would calibrating help for this problem or not?
Seeing as no one has answered yet, I’ll state the obvious… To quote Ian Fleming (author of Bond novels): “Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action” If you are seeing multiple devices upon which you installed “high-quality” knock-offs screens exhibit battery problems, then clearly you have a quality problem with those parts. How or why they drain the battery is not really important. Send them back to your supplier and find a new source.
