Hello, I have a problem with my iPhone 3G it doesn’t charge the battery any more, i changed the dock and the battery and it still doesn’t charge the battery. Any idea, do you think the problem it’s from the mother board ? Thank’s and have a good day.

did you clean the logic board with alcohol or an electronics cleaner ?? (would be the first thing i would do) does the phone react with a “not charging” message of any kind or does it simply not charge ? if you cleaned the logicboard and it still does not charge, it’s possible that the fuse is shot.

there is the yellow line going to the skyworks sky 77340 - when you follow the yellow line on the picture - it almost touches a greenish part - thats the fuse - if this one’s shot - your phone won’t charge edit: i added a picture where i marked the fuse ;-)
