My digitizer replacement kit for an iPad Air didn’t come with the battery bypass clip. Should I pick one up to be safe or will I be good to go without?
Definitely better safe than sorry ! But I can say that I’ve repaired about 100 iPad Airs and have never had any issue with leaving the battery connected. Just be sure to turn it off, and not to use metal tools!
