Hi I have a Baird ti4909dledds smart tv, what originally happened was the set would turn on, but the picture was very dull for a while but would then brighten up, I ask one of my local repairers to find out what the problem was, it came back as 4 leds had blown also a chip the controls them was faulty, which he fixed, the set came back to me and as he had reset the set I went to reconnect the smart side of the set back up, but all I got was a no signal floating round the screen, he has had the set back to try and sort, but as upto now after changing the usb/network board things haven’t changed, he is looking around to find a software update if there is one & for any other answers that could cause this, anyone out there able to help. Once again everything else works just not the smart side of the set. Thanks in advance all.
The “smart board” is actually a JVC Ethernet/Wifi/USB Board. It seems that your board etc are doing what they are supposed to. Appears to be all software/firmware related. Try this to update your firmware Press Home on the remote or press Source and choose SMART TV, when you get your no signal box floating, press OK. Go to settings, then Other then select System Update. As long as your TV is connected to the internet it should search for the latest update and if there is one, it should install it. Of course you also want to make sure that your TV is indeed connecting to the internet and that your router etc. are properly setup.
Hasn’t been solved but we’ve just about tried everything and everyone, unless by some miracle someone has a better version of the software for this Baird (I almost called it something else) that can be put on a usb stick, both my repairer and I am totally stuffed.
