Hi @michaeld2 , You didn’t say which screen was faulty but here’s a link to the ifixit 3DS Repair guides. They show to to replace both of the LCD screens, lower and upper. Unfortunately ifixit only has the lower LCD unit in stock and is out of stock if you require the upper LCD unit.
