Chosen Solution

Okay SO I bought a phone that had a signal issue (i knew this as seller was honest) and I found a video of the antenna and the ‘material’ thing on top of it had slipped off and managed to fix the signal within a minute. After a day or so signal started going funny again so I took apart my phone again etc etc and when I turned it back on it had the ‘shadow’ on the screen (PHOTO OF EXAMPLE PROVIDED)

. So I watched videos of people fixing iphone 6 backlight issues. Which you need to have a solder iron etc to do whatever they do. Most stores that fix smashed screens obviously won’t go near it. Is there anywhere that does? PS IM FROM THE UK UNLESS there’s any advice someone has i could try? I didn’t touch anything i didn’t need too so not sure if it was my fault…

This is not a DIY repair so unless you have the tools and experience, I don’t recommend you try it on an otherwise working phone, especially when it’s your phone. As for repair, look locally for a reputable shop that does micro-soldering repairs. Ideally, you want to find someone local but good workmanship trumps locality. There are many shops worldwide that do this so you shouldn’t have any problems finding them. If you can’t find one locally, then consider mail-in repair. There are several reputable micro-solderers patrolling this forum. You can click on my profile to learn more about my services, at the very least, it can serve as a data point.
