I have a MacBook Pro mid 2012 with no working backlight. I was attempting a repair on the hinge when I dropped a screwdriver causing a short and blew the fuse (I think). So far I have tested with a multimeter and the fuse needs replacing, looking around I thought I needed a 0402 2A 32V fuse like the one found here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350819415063?s… but when it came it is much samller than the one on my logic board. Can anyone direct me to the correct size fuse?
Richard Nicholls, the fuse is a 3amp 32V SMD component in a 0603 package. Farnell in the UK has those that should fit Hope this helps, good luck.
