Hello, i have bought an Iphone 7 128 gb black where the seller says the back Camera is not working. So when i get the Iphone i checked all and all worked, only the back Camera and the flashlight for it don´t work. (Face time Camera works well) I replaced the Camera with a working camera from another iphone to test it and have also the same problem. I take the motherboard also into another iphone to test if there is something wrong with the flexcable on the back, but nothing changed. So is there a chip or something else who turns the light and camera on? kindly regards from austria.
There is some circuitry responsible for powering the back camera and flash, this may be what’s at fault here. I’m not clear on which motherboard you tried in which phone (lost in the translation ;>). Have you tried a known working logic board in the phone that has the flash and camera issue? If you have and the problem is still there, then your flash flexand camera may be damaged. If the replacement logic board works then your problem is on the original logic board and this will require a micro-soldering repair.
