I bought this phone for what i thought would be an easy fix n flip. The power button and back camera werent working. I replaced both parts. However, while doing so, much to my horror I noticed the phone was water damaged. Replacing the parts fixed the power button, but the back camera still doesnt work. The u3200 chip and that area had a slight bit of green corrosion, so i cleaned it gently with alcohol. Nothing appears damaged, burnt, or exposed, and the board looks squeaky clean now, but even after that and restoring firmware and trying a few tricks online the back camera still comes up black and the flash wont work. When i switch to video recording, the flash icon turns red and says the phone is too hot and must cool off for flash to work. Any tips on how i can try and troubleshoot this problem? I have basic tools like a microscope but microsoldering is out of the question… No warranty either. Absolutely any advice on either what component is likely the problem or what i can do or check to narrow it down would be greatly appreciated!

Well you will need microsoldering.. 6s plus back camera has a filter between VCC_MAIN and LDO. It needs to have continuity and providing 3.85-4.2V to the LDO. The LDO must be outputting 2.85V. All the connected caps must not be shorted to ground. 1V8 rail must be present on the camera connector and of course not shorted to ground. Finally, you need to have tested with 2 cameras. Not just one. Or use a known good.
