Chosen Solution
I replaced the screen of my iPhone 4S. I’ve done many before, and I’m good at it, I would like to think. However, when I tried to go onto the camera it just loads the shutter image and wont go any further. The controls at the bottom flash a few times, and some times it will go back to the apple logo and then onto the lock screen. (Not like a reboot, it only takes about 8 seconds) I ordered a new camera and replaced it, still the same. I’ve even swapped it for a one I know works and still the same. Any ideas?

i have the same problem, I’ve had it for a couple of months now, never found any solution to this. I think it’s a motherboard problem, where you connect the camera.
