Hi has anyone tried using b7000 glue to stick a galaxy s5 screen and if so did it work? Or any suggestions for waterproof glue.
Is this for a replacement screen with full assembly as in LCD and touchscreen (digitizer) or is this just the glass only replacement? B7000 would work but it requires a long time for the glue to set in well and I don’t think it will waterproof the phone well. For waterproofing I think the original screen adhesive is your best bet. The S5 can actually easily get water damaged easily even if the phone was repaired or not. It’s pretty much only water resistant judging from other clients that have had water damaged phones that were water resistant. In other words if you used an S5 and submerged it underwater, the chances of it not working are pretty high actually.
