Chosen Solution
So I got this refurbished Canon Powershot ELPH 135 off Canon website in the mail today and I’ve barely used it cause it came 1 hour ago. But it seems that after around 1-2 minutes after I dont record or take pitcures , the lens go back and close then turns off, it doesn’t turn off right away. So what happened was I was navigating through the settings when i noticed the lens closed up and after i exited out of the menu it then automatically shut down. I was thinking since it was refurbished, it might of still have a problem or maybe its just and auto shutdown setting or something Anyways, any help is useful , Thanks
Hi, Your camera has an automatic power saving mode feature. Here is a link to the User Guide. Scroll to p.20 for a description of the Automatic Power Saving Mode. On p.75 it details how to turn the feature off or adjust the times to suit. http://uwm.edu/libraries/wp-content/uplo…
