replaced battery on ipad 4, though I rehooked everything up correctly. now the autorotate feature doesn’t work anymore. Did I mis something internally or damage something internally during fix? Checked slider button next to volume controls and the general setting tab for what the slider button does when locked
The connector that has connections to the gyroscope is right next to the LCD connector. It is possible that you accidentally damaged the connector or flex or some of the tiny components on the logic board in that area when you repaired the device. I would inspect that area closely under magnification.
