Hi Guys, my audio device is not working anymore. By mistake I inserted 48V from a mixer in the IN input. My question is: Should I replace the Logical board or I/O Board Cable only?

Answering in general: It depends on what got hit. It could be a filter or resistor at the gate. It could be the sound controller. It could have gone further. In my experience, this should be repairable without need for replacing the whole board. Or at least worth a shot by someone who performs board level repair. If someone here can provide the board number for this model, I may be able to answer you in better details about what may have gone wrong.

Check for burnt pins on the I/O cable and check the bottom of the I/O board for burnt components. Most of the time on the Airs, the I/O board will just need replacing, since most of the audio circuit is on here, so do that first.
