Repairing the faulty screen was too expensive so I simply hooked up a new monitor. Looks great. I don’t need to use the laptop’s screen anymore because I have the new monitor. How do I make the laptop work when I close the lid?
You need to leave the lid open to keep the machine from going into sleep mode not sure for your machine but some machines you can go into the power options settings and set it to never sleep and this will keep it from going to sleep when you close the lid Hope this helps
