Just rebooted but now when I start the computer it chimes and comes up with the apple logo; the bar under the apple sign freezes 1/4 of the way through.
Depending on the model, it could be a GPU issue (15"), hard drive issue (reformat or new drive will fix) or hard drive cable issue (13"). It is rarely caused by anything else, but let us know the model so we have more details.
It could also be related to an issue with one of your ram dimms. Take one of the dimms out and try again, if that doesn’t work do the same thing but this time with the other dimm or different one.
