Hello, My 4 year old laptop’s screen hinges are loose. The screen wobbles around when touching it. When opening the laptop, the top plate pops up. I have to put it back in place each time. You can see an example in the videos. I opened up my laptop to see if anything is wrong, but I don’t really see the issue. The back screw on the right side tightens, the one on the left side doesn’t tighten anymore. Hi, I don’t know if this is exactly a fix for your problem but it might be. Here is a link which shows the replacement of the hinges in an Asus laptop. Hi, I have exactly same problem just in left side, I am so sorry for my self to spent such money for this laptop which I thought at least has better quality than other cheapest products. I always take care of it and treat with it very professionally but have this kind of issues with asus laptops, and I never gonna spend penny for this lap top. Shame on Asus to manufacturing this kind of worse quality, I am in Canada and I don’t know where to go to fix it. Thanks and good luck
