I have an iMac (27-inch, Mid 2010) 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5. I would like to upgrade my hard drive to an SSD. I’d like to know what (if any) SSD hard drives are compatible with this machine that are over 1TB. If so, would the cost be worth it? Would it be best to stick withe a 1 TB SSD upgrade? (I am already at 775GB on my current drive)

SSD’s are usually 2.5 inches while hard drives are 3.5 inches. You might need to get a mounting bracket to fit it but other than that, you can go to pcpartpicker.com to look for your desired SSD as there is a big variety
