I have searched all around google and found nothing on the tablet accept a windows version of the tablet that has the same model. smartab with wifi 10.1" 2-in-1 touchscreen tablet ST1009XBX
Hi, You may have to dis-assemble it to find out whether the digitizer is a separate part or whether it is integrated as a module with the LCD screen. Usually on the back of a LCD screen there is a part number. By searching online using this number only you may get more information regarding whether it is a module or not, i.e. it might say LCD/Digitizer panel or something similar. Another clue, although not guaranteed, is if there are two cables leading from the motherboard to the screen. By this I mean if the video cable has two connectors at the motherboard end, rather than two separate cables, although that also could be the case. Mostly it is one connector for the LCD screen and one the Digitizer screen, whereas the one cable/one connector could indicate a module approach Update (03/12/2017) Hi @ Mercury, Not the exact same model number, but here is the link to a supplier of the part. I don’t know if the difference between a Smartab ST1009X and a Smartab ST1009XBX (model number you quote) relates to the digitizer specifications or not as I cannot find any information at all regarding a ST1009XBX only a ST1009X, Is this like yours? It is an Android model For $US21 shipping included, (it may be even cheaper to your location), it might be worth the gamble.
If your still looking for a screen for your Smartab here is a link they are only $24.99 with free shipping http://www.actablet.com/index.php?main_p… I too needed a replacement except mine is model ST1009X but I see they have a screen for a ST1009XBK as well maybe that one will work. Hope this helps
