The internal Speakers in MBPr 15" 2012mid are not as good as the later versions. Mid 15 model sound much better than 2012 version so I am trying the replace the speakers. From the informations of the speaker parts being sold in this website, I can figure out that 2012~2014 models are exchangeable with each other. But I am not sure about the 2015 version. Does anyone tried this before?
As you may see on these 2 guides (for 2014 & 2015 15" MBP retina), They have the same shape, same screws & apparently the same connector. I would say yes, but I could not be 100% sure about it as this information is not provided anywhere (no part on the store, and I’ve not been able to find it elsewhere).
