I ordered a motherboard off ebay. Unfortunately, there are 2 missing posts where the processor cooling fan screws into. I’ve tried searching for the posts with no luck. Is it even possible to replace those?
It is very risky buying a motherboard off of ebay. Any how, Google search “Tapped (threaded) Metal Spacers”. Here is an example: https://www.jaycar.co.nz/search?text=tap… You haven’t shown the cooling fan/heat sink You will need to measure your thread size. M3 seems common. Height is important, of course. You may have to use a washer and a screw to hold the spacer from below. Is the nut still there on the underside of the circuit board? Use your ingenuity Let us know how it goes. Good luck.
