Question as above. I have an iPad 1 with the grey band issue, and I was wondering if an iPad 2 lcd will work. I know they are the same resolution, but is there any cable length difference between them?

No. The iPad LCD is attached to the Digitizer with 5 T5 Torx Screws. The iPad 2 LCD is attached to the rear housing with 4 Phillips Screws.

NO. They are NOT compatible.
