Hi there, it’s basically the same issue I have with my other question: I have two MacBooks, one black, one white - one being a Core Duo, the other a Core 2 Duo. I want to switch parts but at least the display. Are the displays compatible with each other? I have seen there are two / three antannae cables … what do I have to do in order to get things working?
OK, I figured it out myself. The two displays are compatible, to a point. The C2D was a Merom and had an AirPort card with three connectors. I tore both the ‘Books apart and switched the display and the AirPort cards et voilá. After all it worked out fine! :)
