are ifixit parts like the battery and power/volume cable replacements OEM?
No. Apple only sells parts to authorized and certified repair chips. They also can’t sell the parts to anyone as well. The only source for true OEM parts are used from a parted out phone. These usually come from bad board or IMEI/ESN phones, since the display (generally) go for a descent amount of money if it’s in descent shape. Sometimes old OEM NOS parts are sold, but those parts are not common or easy to find. In many cases, there are not a lot of available parts that fit in this group. Most iPhone parts are made to the spec of the OEM part, but are not made by Apple. This isn’t an issue for most people because these look and perform as good as the OEM part.
No. The OEM is Apple and they do not allow true OEM parts to be on the marketplace. The term OEM has actually become a mark of low quality in the iPhone parts world—quality vendors recognize that it has no meaning and don’t use it.
