When reassembleling a device what is the best option for making sure the screen and digitizer stay attached to the rear case or rest of the phone. Do you recommend a glue or a tape and if so where to buy it.
You do not need adhesive for a complete screen assembly, but if you are just replacing the glass, buy the plastic bezel frames with heat activated glue (will be a yellow or clear glue across the frame). The frames with 3M tape will not be strong enough to hold the glass, and it will lift. Would recommend OCA to bond the LCD to the glass, not tape (doesn’t look good, dust gets under and causes bubbles) or UV glue (yellow pressure marks).
