hello i got my ipod every time i turn it on my Ipod say www.apple.com/support/ipod? i go there but theres no answes how to fix it. i tried doing a hard reset but that message still pops out? how can i fix this????

Hi, when the iPod says www.apple.com/support/ipod it most likely means that you have an hardware issue. Connect the iPod to a PC and tell us what happens. If the iPod is unrecognized by the explorer and iTunes, it most likely means that the hard drive or the hard drive cable is damaged/broken. If the iPod is recognized by the explorer and not by iTunes try to restore the iPod via iTunes.

Googling this message brought up a message the the ipod needs to be reset. I have included the URL for you. Ralph http://www.zolved.com/synapse/view_conte

iPod Videos are very finicky! Please take a look at the troubleshooting guide for further info.

Im having this same problem. The ipod is recognized by itunes, but when after the ipod is “prepared for recovery”, I just get that same error message again :S. Does this mean it’s the hard drive cable?
