After I did the latest update on my iPhone 5S it will not reboot. It goes to an apple logo then a blue screen and back to the apple logo. The phone is stuck like this. I’ve tries restoring it and everything nothing’s working.
The blue screen is cause by a mismatch of the screws. Your motherboard might be damaged! Here is how to fix it: http://vkrepair.com/iphone-5s/iphone-5s-…
Hey, It is really easy to fix iPhone stuck on appl logo problem. You just need to use iOS system recovery. It can connect your iPhone deeply and fix the problem for you easily. You can learn how to fix iPhone stuck on apple logo. You can also fix iPhone stuck in recovery mode, blue screen, black screen, white screen, stuck in dfu mode and other iOS problems easily.
this happens when you put the wrong screw in the bottom right hole of the lcd shield plate. this hole uses a 1.2mm screw, if you put a 1.3mm scew, will damage the ic tracks underneath the screwhole
Just so everyone is aware, its not always, in fact these days rarely, long screw damage. Its much more likely U2 IC failure as another person has suggested. There is a link on my profile for you to find someone close to you to repair it in any case
Few simple steps to bring your phone back to life
- Turn off the phone
- connect the phone on dfu mode ( press and hold home key while phone connect to the PC) : iTunes required.
- Open below path and delete firmware file (*.ipsw file) C:\user\user name**\appdata\roamin\applecomputer\itunes\iphonesoftwareupdates\ and delete *.ipsw firmware file PC user name is requred or type .ipsw on search option and you will see the relevant firmware file
- Restore the iPhone via iTunes as usual
this just happened to me… white screen w/ logo, then blue screen then black and repeating… didn’t realize how critical the order/placement of the screws around the efi shield is… here’s what i did as a workaround… i reopened the phone, detached the home button cable to get to the efi shield, removed the shield’s screws and the shield itself, reconnected the home button cable, put one of ifixit’s thin plastic “guitar pick” tools over the three connectors so they would stay snug inside the phone (in other words, in place of the now-removed metal shield), then carefully snapped the phone shut and closed it up w/ the two bottom screws. and everything works!
Try without connecting the proximity/camera ribbon. Had this problem on a 5s and replacing the proximity/selfie camera ribbon fixed it
Are you sure this didn’t happen after a screen repair as it always happens if wrong screws were used on emi shield.. If a screen replacement essential do and it did happen after a update then try putting phone in dfu mode and restoring it via iTunes on a laptop
I spoke too soon. I think it’s something to do with the charging port. I think there’s a short or something. It’s been doing it off and on for the last couple of days. Getting a new phone tomorrow.
I had a similar problem on iPhone 5c when I’m triing to upgrade to ios 9.1 my iPhone falls in to a boot loop, tht happens 7 days afther and I cant find a solution I’ve check on reddit and a lot of 5s users reports the same problem whit the iPhone. it’s a hardware problem. hope U can fix the issue and if you can fix it tell me how did you do it

Don’t worry, just follow these steps to fix iPhone stuck on Apple logo => First of all Start your Computer and then connect with Internet connection, now Download the latest version of the iTunes application => Now install the iTunes application in your System and connect your Device with computer via Data cable => Now connect your Device with iTunes application and then Tab on summary option, see in the left side bar of iTunes => Now Select restore option from iTunes and then confirm the Restore Message for better results. After this unplug your Device and Restart it Hope it helps.
I have had the same issue. Just turned phone off and waited a few seconds. I then turned it back on by holding the on/off button along with the home button until the apple logo appeared then held the volume up button until the phone restarted correctly (i.e. where passcode required). I have then updated the ios (as I suspect the latest update caused the issue as another one was waiting to be downloaded) and removed the last app I installed to be on the safe side. All working ok now :)
how to solve blue screen 5s
I am an Apple unauthorised service provider that happened to get one 5s phone with the exact same issues as described here today, and here is how i fixed it. 1: Remove the entire display 2: Reconnect ONLY the ribbon cable with the HOME button 3: Connect the phone to iTunes “used a mac” 4: Push the POWER + HOME for 10 sec or as long is needed to get iTunes to see the phone and wanting to restore it 5: Do a full restore and wait until its all finished. 6: Once done, turn the phone off, and reconnect the screen and all its cables. 7: Turn on the phone, and you should have a working phone again. :)
The blue screen is caused by mismatching the screws. Your motherboard might be damaged. Here is how to fix it: http://vkrepair.com/iphone-5s/iphone-5s-…
I do have my screen replaced , but it worked fine for weeks after. Now it’s stuck on Apple logo that goes back and forth from apple logo to blue screen. I tried to restore in ITunes , and I said it was not eligible for rebuild. Basically wouldn’t restore .. Please Help its been a week no phone.
Is just the screws. I had the same problem. Just look at it: http://www.iphonebits.co.uk/iphone-5s-bl… Everything you need is there.
i have same problem too, what can i do to solve this kind of problem
I reloaded the iOS 10.1 through iTune 3 times, first time restoring the apps, music and photos to the phone via the backup, the BSOD returned, second time I loaded a few apps and music, the BSOD returned after a few hours, the third time I only loaded a couple of apps (Facebook and Messenger) and left the music and photos off, this time the phone has been 100% stable for 3 days without any unintended reboot or BSOD. I will monitor and load a couple more apps at a time then wait a few days to see if the phone remain stable, perhaps some part of the firmware was messed up which took 3 tries to clear up.
It shows that there is a program in the background, you can go to the settings - Privacy - positioning software to see what you think you would have been used in the background, can cancel the cancellation. http://cellphone.listofask.com/?qa=33346…
That is not the faults of software problem.I heartily says that is the fault of hardware.Sometime hard brick or the mistake of technicians while insert lcd. While fix lcd the long screw makes the track cut and causes that problems. Here i wish to sharethe common repair mistake to warn while repair any iDevice.
