my iphone 5 cut off , will not reboot or turn on , is not recognized when it is connected to computer. is there anything I can do to retrieve my contacts and photos (from the last 3years)?
You don’t say much about what happened to the phone prior to it dying. Was it physically damaged, water damaged…just old? You may just have a dead battery or charging circuit or something is disconnected. If you have easy access to parts, you could try to replace the battery. Otherwise, go to a shop and let them do some basic troubleshooting. If you value the data, you could work with a micro-soldering repair shop.
