Chosen Solution I’ve been looking for similar problems but everything seems to be for the PS3. My kids have the “buzz” games and at first I thought that they were all madly pressing the buttons and the machine had overloaded and crashed. Took the game to in-laws and it played fine. The PS2 works ok for about 30minutes then crashes and goes back to home screen, red power light flashes. Turn machine off and on again and it will play for less time....

Chosen Solution I got an iPhone 6 into my shop today. The phone has had a screen replacement (and the battery removed, and slightly pierced). 2 months later the phone only boots to the apple logo for a split-second, and the the backlight fails. I have noticed that if I hold the powerbutton pressed, the logo will show 5-6 seconds, and the the same. Could this be long screw damage? Have tried a new battery, and a new screen...

Chosen Solution Applied IC Diamond 24K Thermal paste to my MacBook Pro 15" Retina Quad-Core.Used the small pea method. Noticing CPU temps idle at 60-80C, 90’s C with a load. Does this particular thermal paste take time to settle in to work properly or should I reapply using less paste? Update (11/30/2016) Fixed it! Reapplied thermal past in an “X” like pattern on the CPU and GPU. Idle temps in the low 40’s....

Chosen Solution I have an original 2007 60g ps3. My blu ray driver decided to stop reading games and blu rays, but can still read dvd’s. Anyone had the same problem? Do I need to replace the laser, the complete driver, or just cleaning it would do the trick? And if just cleaning it, how would I go about doing this has I’ve never cleaned it before. @albator2007 you could use a commercially available “laser lens cleaning kit” and see if that makes a difference....

Chosen Solution I just noticed that the bottom quarter (approximating) of my screen (when held in landscape mode, home button on the right) is discoloured. It isn’t usually visible, but grey is rendered as a green and other colours sometimes blue. Right now, it doesn’t affect usability, but it is annoying. I assume that I would also be able to see red with some experimentation. The iPad is brand new and it’s the 256 GB model, so it’s quite expensive....

Chosen Solution I replaced a broken screen, and home button on iPhone 7+. Now the speakers, earpiece (speaker) and home button dont work. Also, it feels very hot and the batter life is significanly down (goes from full to dead in one day with little use). Did I totally screw my phone? Any help at al would be greatly appreciated. Try disconnecting one part at a time to see when heat disappears, I’d start from front camera flat cable and then the home button/touch ID flex....

Chosen Solution Hi, I made a big mistake. My iPhone 4s wont charge. The problem is the power ic. So I decided to replace it with my hot air station. It was not easy so I destroyed the faulty chip and some resistors. They broke off. I solderd the the new power chip successfully but I can’t solder the resistors with my hot air station because the wont hold and blow off, even on the lowest air level....

Chosen Solution The cord on my shark lift away, the prongs are about to break. Can I replace the cord? Another option is replace the plug only, if the dog chewed close to the plug. That would shorten the cord a little. Or cut of the cord where bad and put a new plug, then use an extension cord. Hide from dog ! Yes you can… you can do it your self (if you feel confident in taking the vacuum apart) or you can take it to almost any vacuum repair shop and they will do it…...

Chosen Solution Curious if the iPhone SE can boot up and function (for testing purposes) without a battery installed. Just tested it! Looks like it needs a battery plugged in to start, but the capacity and current charge don’t matter. I put a known dead battery in, plugged it in, and it booted. You can also disconnect the battery and it will just run on the incoming voltage. TL;DR It needs a battery, but the condition of the battery doesn’t matter....

I swapped recently a motherboard in a iPhone 4s and that worked perfectly There’s no issue with the logic boards. However, if the logic board was originally programmed to be with a “white” screen, then it will show a black Apple logo on white background during boot....

Chosen Solution Hello there, i have 2 consoles here with me, one of which has a cracked LCD and another that has a parental lock on it. out of curiosity i decided to swap the internal memory chips around to see if the parental lock was bound to the memory chip or one of the other boards. before removing the memory i made sure to disconnect the battery. once everything was all set up and ready to go i tried to turn them back on again to no prevail unfortunately....

Chosen Solution Hi folks, my iMac doesn´t start right, as soon as i hit the power button there comes a Beep, 3 x short, 3 x long, 3 x short. As far as i know it should be something about the Ram or Ram Slot. Since i tried a few different Rams and nothing changed i suppose its actually the Bank/Slot itself. What can i do? Try one RAM stick one at a time in each slot and see if you can identify the bad slot or stick or both....

Chosen Solution so i bought this screen of ifixit, but yes as said, just the touch dosent work.. what to do now? Contact the support of the website. They have a lifetime guarantee if the part itself is defective, but if it isn’t they will charge a 15% or $5 for restock. So make sure it is the part defective and not your IPhone 4s. That’s all I know how to help....
