Chosen Solution I tried to repair my husband’s iphone 5s, broken screen and not charging. First I fixed the charging issue (replaced both the battery and the charging dock) and it seemed to work fine. So I replaced the screen - again, it seemed to work, but I forgot to check if it was charging. The same day my husband plugged it in to charge for a few minutes before going out - he doesn’t remember if it actually charged or not, although the phone seemed to be warmish....

Chosen Solution Will a steering column out of a 1990 Suburban fit into an 88 Chevy pickup rodneybandondunes according to my manual it will. There are exceptions to that. Things like tilt steering etc may limit this. I suggest you contact a parts-recycler (junk yard :-) and ask them for clarification. The Hollander manual they are using will verify which model fits and which does not.

Chosen Solution The connector where the home button ribbon attaches is broken. Will the iPad work with no home button attached there and broken prongs? I have the assistive touch so I can use that. Just wondering if it will function other than that. Chosen Solution I was trying to remove an already stripped screw that’s holding the battery of this device and i had no choice but to forcefully remove it via pliers. The screw is now gone but i’ve damaged that silver part near the battery. It’s now bent and i don’t know if it would affect the phone’s usage now. The OS X detected as Optical output and speaker does not work when it stuck at optical. Then I take it to store at my local. They are unable to fix it because they have to replace the logic board. I wonder that if Icould replace headphone jack?...

Chosen Solution I had old-style batteries (the ones with acid) in my track pad and it stopped working. I opened the battery slot and found that one of the batteries leaked acid, some of which became stuck on the wall of the slot. I tried cleaning it out as best as I could, but it doesn’t work now that I’ve replaced the old defective batteries with fresh ones. And to make things worse, the same has happened with my wireless keyboard and the battery that’s in deepest is stuck and I haven’t found any kind of tool that can pull it out....

Chosen Solution I have a Late 2008 MacBook Pro 15" with the removable cover on the back to where you can expose the battery. I noticed my Battery Is Not Charging. Under System Report it shows that it isn’t even installed when it is. I’ve reset the SMC and PRAM and that didn’t help. So at this point I didn’t know if it was the Battery, Battery Connector, or Logic Board....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone XS with a completely smashed screen. I have tried a ZY OLED and touch doesn’t work. I’ve heard that you have to try out multiple displays. What’s the best display I can get. It’s a 64gb Silver unlocked. (Not that any of that matters.) The best display would be one from Apple. My test screens for the X are LCD’s as they don’t usually suffer from the any touch problems....

Chosen Solution A while ago I cracked my phone and replaced the screen. Camera was black so I figured I would get a new one to fix the issue. New camera didn’t fix it so now I’m here to find a possible solution. I replaced the screen and front camera but neither flashlight or front & rear camera will work anymore. Chosen Solution Has anyone seen a mother board issue cause the bottom mic not not to work. I have already changed lighting port assembly twice Has the phone ever been repaired in that area? Maybe the charging port assembly was removed/replaced and wasn’t installed correctly and the mic is being blocked. It also sounds like there could be dirt/dust in the mic hole which would cause it to not pickup sound or sound muffled....

Chosen Solution Hi all, I hope you can help me with this one as I am out of ideas: iPhone 7 screen replaced. Back plate, home button and front camera flex transfered (as I have done in the past already multiple times with success). When powering up I end up in a reboot loop. Disconnecting front camera flex lets the device continue to its iOS without problems. Tried a new front camera flex without success....

Chosen Solution I’ve been facing this issue for months now, Whenever I tap camera app or any other third party camera app like snapchat, candycamera or camera in the whatsapp or facebook or instagram, the system hangs for 5-10 seconds and the respective app crashes and there’s no cameras and no flash. When I ran the system diagnostics using ##7378423## the rear camera diagnostic also gave the same black screen and gave a message that the camera not connected whereas the flash test said that the flash should be on whereas it wasn’t and finally the front camera diagnostic crashed the system diagnostic tool completely....

Chosen Solution I have slight corrosion on my logic board. Can I place a different model year logic board, but same model (a1466), in my MacBook Air? Sadly, there is enough physical differences that make this just not worth the effort. Besides, the lower performance of the older series would make this less desirable. Best to get the correct part (used) or look at getting a new system and selling this one for parts....

Chosen Solution I have a Macbook Pro early 2009 with replaceable battery. It has broken down. My solution was to buy a used Macbook Pro 2.53 Ghz, mid 2009. The hard drive from the broken down computer has Yosemite installed as the OS. The 2.53 Ghz machine has El Capitan installed as the OS. I want to preserve some software with features in iTunes that are no longer available. There are other configuration settings I want to preserve as well....

Chosen Solution my laptop have four c-port, which is right one for charging Most people would probably plug into the furthest one on the left. Any port is fine as they all function the same for charging.
